Denial, delusion and disassociation are all byproducts of dysfunctional illusion. We are currently being affected by a long generational transit of the planet Neptune in Pisces. Here we have the planet of illusion taking a respite in the sign of dissociation, addiction, and make believe. Because of this we are wondering if our news is fake, if our leaders are telling the truth and if huge populations of people are seemingly in mass delusion regarding climate change among other challenges.

Notes from readings March 11, 2016

This week's clients were all dealing with major transits...I call them tsunamis and they come in different colors and with different survival manuals. All major transits have one thing in common however, they REQUIRE us to SUBMIT to their lessons. Notice I used the word require. These life lessons are mandatory and not a choice. They happen to us and as hard or traumatic as they may be, they will always leave a huge spiritual gift for the recipient once they are over.

I have recently returned from a trip to Amsterdam where I crossed off an item on my bucket list; a visit to the Van Gogh Museum. 

We are all familiar with these paintings. They have become almost cliche by now because they are reproduced so frequently. It was especially great to see the paintings that weren't so famous because they revealed not only amazing technical painting talent, but interesting choices of subject matter. A crab on it's back, a wooden chair, a forest floor rotting with leaves to name a few...

Splish Splash Takin a Money Bath
Lately the topic of money has come up a lot in my readings in some interesting ways. We have all heard the tag line "Money is Energy." The reason this saying is cliche and over-used is because it is the TRUTH. People fear money, become obsessed with money, become "victims" of money or the lack of it. All of these experiences are merely projections and/or manifestations based on unconscious beliefs.

Disconnection, Evil and Fear

Today I visited the Oklahoma City National Memorial. I also dealt with a house closing and leaseback deal that became very contentious and weird. What do the two have in common? Lots.

I'm not suggesting that an asshole real estate broker and narcissistic landlord can do the level of damage that Tim McVeigh wreaked on OKC but I am suggesting that on a general level the origins of the behaviors are similar...just on a different scale.

Is it a Funeral or a Coming Home Party?

No one gets out of here alive. Everyone is going to die. If you believe in reincarnation you understand that everyone has already died before. I was raised in a Christian environment with no mention of reincarnation. We were taught that there is an afterlife but not many lives.

This week's readings had a lot of messages about being authentic and living (and/or dying) with heart. Just recently Nyquist won the 2016 Kentucky Derby with amazing passion and flair. You can't watch something like that without being emotionally affected. We all want to relate to the horse that wins and each one of us has some of those elements within us for sure. 

Forward Momentum is a Practice

I loved the Flintstones. (And yes I am THAT OLD) I loved the 60's vibe of the backgrounds, the cheesy caveman theme, and especially the celebrity guest star appearances (remember Ann Margrock and Cary Granite?) When I'm doing readings my guides send me pictures to help communicate messages to the client.

This week both personally, professionally and in the readings I ran into recurring themes revolving around the victim/perpetrator dance that we all find ourselves in at some point or another. This familiar human dynamic can be so painful especially when it comes to all kinds of deception or hiding.

After a day of sessions I was closing up a shed in the backyard when I noticed above my head a flock of cedar waxwings quietly munching the remaining berries of winter and watching me as if they had been perched there forever. I moved towards them expecting them to fly away, they didn't even startle. They just quietly watched me.
